Hello

I'm Vanessa Hall

Doctoral Student

Scope: Assessments

Language: English

I am a clinical psychology doctoral graduate student at Adler University in Vancouver, B.C.. I have a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and semiotics from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in psychology from the University of East London. My master’s thesis focused on the emerging relationship between diet and mental health.

As a practicum student, I am thoroughly interested in the process of assessing people to better help them understand their mental health and overall state of mind. I believe that once we can acknowledge our starting point, we can then make informed decisions on the steps necessary to manage and find a solution. I am particularly interested in psychoeducational assessments, as well as identifying learning disorders such as ADHD in both children and women of all ages.

In my free time I enjoy gardening, reading, hiking, and cycling as I feel a well balanced lifestyle that stimulates both physical and mental is necessary in leading a healthy life.
